This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information submitted via bykauffman.co.uk. The website is hosted on GitLab Pages. Form submissions are processed through Google services.

The Contact form sends the following information through Google Apps Script:

- Email *
- Phone *
- Topic, for example Booking Appointment, Collaboration, Media, or another enquiry type
- Message *
- Consent to Terms and Privacy Policy *
Purpose of Data Use
The information you provide is used solely to:
- Respond to your message or enquiry
- Arrange appointments if requested
- Understand your request and reply accordingly
- Keep a basic communication record where necessary
Data Processing
Form submissions are processed using Google Apps Script. Reviews are stored in a private Google Sheet managed by the website owner. The public information described below is included in the website build hosted by GitLab Pages.
Client Reviews
If you use a personal review invitation, we collect your chosen public name, star rating, review text and submission date. With your consent, these details are published on the Reviews page. Please do not include private contact details or sensitive information in your review.
Opening a review form does not send a request to Google or create a review record. When you submit, a random submission identifier is saved in your browser’s local storage and its hash is stored with the review to prevent duplicate submissions if a request is retried. You can remove the browser value by clearing this website’s stored data. Your published name, rating, review and date are included in the website repository and its version history.
To request a correction or removal of a review, contact Dina using the Contact page. Changes to published reviews appear after the website is rebuilt; copies held by visitors or search engines may remain outside our control.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share or disclose your information to third parties unless it is necessary to respond to your request, provide the service, comply with a legal obligation, protect safety, or manage legitimate administrative requirements.
Data Retention
Contact messages are retained within the Google account for responding to you and managing service enquiries. They may be deleted upon request or once no longer needed. Submitted reviews remain in the review records until removed by the owner or following a removal request.
Your Rights
In accordance with the UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You may do so at any time by contacting us directly.
Google Maps
Our website includes an embedded Google Maps frame to display the service area. The map is not loaded automatically. By clicking to load the map, you consent to data being transferred to Google. The use of this service is subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We do not set marketing cookies ourselves for this feature. A local consent timestamp may be stored in your browser for up to 7 days so that the map can be shown again without asking each time.
